International logistic provider, Freight Direct Ireland, partnered with Advanced Flooring Systems (AFS) to successfully upgrade the flooring system at their main distribution centre.
A family run business based in Larne, Freight Direct Ireland provides a comprehensive range of customer-focused logistic and storage solutions. The UK and Ireland based logistics provider required flooring repairs and a new hard-wearing floor system installed in their main distribution centre in the Port of Larne.

With years of experience in supplying and fitting industrial flooring systems, and to ensure minimal distribution to their business operations, Freight Direct partnered with AFS.
Following our free onsite survey, we created a tailored flooring installation package suited to Freight Direct Ireland’s budget and requirements.
At AFS, we believe every good flooring project starts with good preparation. Using our own surface preparation division, we prepared the floor using vacuum grinding, removing containments. All cracks and holes in the floor were repaired to strengthen the substrate and provide a good base for a successful flooring installation.
Following preparation, our expert team installed a scratch primer coat to the substrate, then we supplied and fitted a new Vebro Polymers seamless polyurethane flooring system throughout the 1200m2 facility. This gave the customer an easy to maintain and hard-wearing flooring system – perfect for industrial and manufacturing environments.
