Our specialist and in-house surface preparation division utilises the very latest scarifying equipment on projects across the UK and Ireland.
Scarifying is used by our specialised surface preparation division.
What is Scarifying?
We use a range of scarifying equipment on surface preparation in projects across the UK and Ireland. Scarifying machines apply a cutting wheel to the concrete surface, leaving a clean, textured or roughed finish. Scarifiers are also referred to as planers, milling machines, rotary cutters or simply surface preparation machines.
These machines usually have various styles of interchangeable cutter assemblies that can be used for cleaning, grinding and light or heavy milling. Production rates range from 350 to 1,500 square feet per hour (depending on machine size and horsepower) for a 1/8-inch removal depth of 3,500-psi concrete.
For many industrial and commercial flooring projects, scarifying and professional surface preparation is vital to ensure project success. For this reason, it is important to utilise a specialist contractor who is able to ensure your floor is prepared correctly.
We provide the complete surface preparation service across the UK and Ireland. As a specialist flooring contractor, we understand the importance of professional surface preparation and so we utilise our own in-house surface preparation division with access to all the latest preparation equipment on all our projects.
We realise that some clients and projects only require surface preparation, so our specialised scarifying service is available for hire on projects right across Ireland and the UK.
If you have a surface preparation requirement for projects in Dublin, to Cork to Belfast, London or Glasgow, our scarifying service is available to help on your next project.
