Following previous successful installations in Sligo and Castlebar, Advanced Flooring Systems (AFS) installed a further high build flooring system in a new IDA Ireland unit in Sligo.
IDA Ireland is the agency responsible for the attraction and development of foreign direct investment (FDI) in Ireland. To help support further investment in the west of the country, the organisation has built a new state of the art Advance Technology buildings in Castlebar and Sligo. This recent installation comes on a further new unit being built in Sligo.
That new unit has now been secured by Abbott who provides a diverse range of science-based nutritional products, diagnostic tools and medical devices. Working with the main contractor Sammon Group, AFS started the project using their in-house surface preparation division to prepare the new concrete substrates.
Following preparation, AFS supplied and installed 2 coats of MPM FU Rapid (a liquid DPM due to the high moisture content in freshly poured concrete slab) and finished the project by successfully installing 2 coats of MPM P5/4 a high build epoxy flooring system, along with new matching coving.
