More project successes for AFS

Advanced Flooring Systems (AFS) has once again helped a number of UK and Irish clients ensure the long term longevity and cost effectiveness of their floor systems.

Over the past month AFS has had the opportunity to work on a number of projects spanning the criminal justice, industrial, retail and food and beverage sectors.  Some of these projects included:

Crust & Crumb, Derrylin

Crust & Crumb engaged AFS to supply and fit a new PU screed to their bakery floor and coving at their Derrylin facility. Crust & Crumb is one of Ireland’s leading manufacturers of fresh Pizza and Pizza Bases for the retail and food service sector. Following surface preparation on the existing floor, AFS successfully installed a hard wearing and high temperature resistant Resdev RT PU screed to the floor and covering area.  Find out more and view photos from our project with Crust & Crumb, Derrylin.

UTS, Dunboyne

Having successfully installed a new floor system in 2008, UTS once again engaged AFS to help rejuvenate an old floor system in their Dunboyne facility. Since being installed in 2008, the existing floor system had attracted a large amount of wear and tear. However rather than replace the floor, AFS was able to cost effectively rejuvenate the existing system. Following light surface preparation on the existing floor, AFS successfully resanded and resealed the floor to make the system clean, fresh and ready for high traffic use once again. Podium Deck, Clontarf

Using their extensive waterproofing expertise, AFS was engaged to supply and fit a new podium deck waterproof system in a new build in Clontarf. Following surface preparation on the new concrete substrate, AFS successfully installed a Nafuflex 2K waterproof podium deck system over 2000m2 area.
