Following the recent Point Square project, Advanced Flooring Systems (AFS) continue to leave the competition behind with a further successful car park system installation at Dublin’s Earlsfort Terrace.
The new 6 storey development constructed from John Sisk and Son Ltd is designed to provide new residential and office space in Dublin city centre. The facility includes a basement car park and Sisk’s required a contractor who could supply and install a high build and slip resistant car park flooring system.
With years of experience in providing the complete car park flooring solution, including high build systems, top deck and basement waterproofing, and previous successful engagements, Sisks turned to AFS once again.
AFS used their in-house surface preparation division to prepare the new concrete substrate. Following preparation, AFS supplied and installed a new MC DUR1200VK Primer and broadcast quartz to provide a slip resistant system.
A multi-coloured system was used to help demarcate parking bays and walkways, while line marking direction arrows was added to the complete the project. To complete the project AFS installed a MC DUR 1252 finish coat to ensure the system retained high build protection properties.
